Join us at Lamoureux Park this September 10th as we observe World Suicide Prevention Day with a special community event from 5:30p.m. to 8:00p.m. This meaningful gathering will be held at the Bandshell, with an alternate location of Salon B at the Civic Complex, ensuring that the event can go on regardless of the weather.

Activities Include:

• Community Partner Booths: Engage with local organizations dedicated to mental health and  wellness. Learn about the resources available in our community and how you can get involved or seek help.
• Scavenger Hunt: Participate in a fun and interactive scavenger hunt designed to promote awareness and provide educational information about suicide prevention.
• BBQ: Food items will be available for purchase.
• Live Music: Experience the healing power of music with live performances from local artists.
• Candle Lighting Ceremony: Join us as we conclude the evening with a candle lighting ceremony - a moment to remember those we have lost, support those who struggle, and unite in our commitment to prevent suicide.

This event is free and open to all. It's an opportunity for the Cornwall community to come together in support of those affected by suicide and to promote actions that can lead to prevention.
