Founded in 1918, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is the most established, most extensive community mental health organization in Canada. Through a presence in more than 330 communities across every province and one territory, CMHA provides advocacy, programs and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive. CMHA Champlain East
The Canadian Mental Health Association Champlain East (CMHA CE) was chartered in 1974 and is a non-profit organization with a volunteer Board of Directors.
We are a community-based organization offering a range of programs and client-centred support services in the Champlain East region to people aged 16 and over. Services can be provided in the home, office or community.
All services are confidential and offered free of charge to the individual.
We are funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Ontario Health East (OHE).
We also provide mental health education and training programs to organizations wishing to strengthen the knowledge, skills and resilience of their teams.

The Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (M-SAA) is the funding agreement we have with Ontario Health East (OHE). The OHE is our largest funder and this document typically covers a three-year funding period.
