Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

We are always searching for skilled and enthusiastic volunteers! Individuals who get involved with CMHA play a crucial role in our organization and in enhancing the well-being of our community.

Your support helps us improve the lives of people living with mental health and/or addiction challenges and we truly appreciate the dedication and initiative of those who unselfishly contribute their time and energy.

We welcome people to express an interest in volunteering with us at any time, however we only actively recruit when there is an opening. Please continue to visit this page regularly, to find out when our next recruitment opportunities will become available.

*Students who successfully apply and are accepted as volunteers will get credit for volunteer hours.

Ways to Give

There is no health without mental health. Together we can build a resilient future, tackle the stigma that surrounds mental illness, and transform community mental health services so everyone gets the help they need.

Why Donate?

Individuals and families whose lives are impacted by mental health and mental illness are at the heart of everything we do. Your generous support brings hope and health to the 1 in 3 people in our community who will experience mental illness sometime during their lives. They are your neighbour, your sister, your son, your spouse. They are you.
